Where My Feet Fall

Walking and writing have always gone together, from the poets who walk out a rhythm for their lines, to the novelists who put their characters on a path. And for many of us, walking has taken on a new dimension in recent years, reconnecting us to our surroundings and relaxing our minds in anxious times.

In a new collection of essays, ‘Where My Feet Fall’, editor Duncan Minshull invited an arrayof writers to share some of their best insights and joyous experiences of walking. Joining him in a revealing conversation about the relationship between walking and writing are two of the collection’s contributors—novelist and journalist Will Self and short story writer Irenosen Okojie.
