Sir Anthony Seldon – Henley Literary Festival

Last year Sir Anthony set out to walk the full 1,000km route of the First World War’s Western Front, from the Swiss border to the English Channel. His often-gruelling 35-day pilgrimage took him to the haunting trenches of the Somme, to Ypres and some of Europe’s most beautiful scenery. The Path of Peace is the story of the highly respected historian’s walk, combining memoir, nature writing and travel while touching on grief, loss and the legacy of war. Interviewed by Krish Kandiah.
