Waterstones Piccadilly are delighted to be welcoming Nikesh Shukla in store to discuss The One Who Wrote Destiny. A charming, witty and at times heart-breaking novel of immigration and assimilation, Shukla’s latest novel is his most ambitious, and most personal, to date.
Josie Long will be chairing the evening’s discussion with Nikesh. Josie is a writer and stand up comedian. She won the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the age of 17, and has gone on to be nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show three times. She is currently touring with Jonny and the Baptists on their “Lefty Scum” Tour. Josie is also the co-founder of Arts Emergency: a charity focused on access to academia, and the cultural and creative industries, for young people from working class backgrounds.
