The Digital Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the digital business and managing the key business relationships of Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Google and Overdrive. The role is the first point of contact for ebooks across the company. From maximising revenues, to formulating pricing policies, this is an all-encompassing role. Responsibilities include: evaluating ebook potential for all title acquisitions; planning digital campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing Director; providing in-depth pricing and product analysis across all titles and markets; representing ebook sales in all relevant author and agent meetings and communications; arranging presentations and grid submissions for all digital retailer promotions.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in selling to digital markets, with strong negotiation and customer relationships building skills. This is a busy role, so candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, able to multi-task and prioritise calmly and efficiently, using strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to learn will be as important as experience for the successful candidate.
